I’m headed to California mid August to hike the John Muir Trail, so I’ve set a challenge- to hike a trail once a week until August. The focus won’t be on the length, the point is to get out and hike! It does prove to be a bit of a challenge in the midwest, there aren’t a ton of trails and many of them are pretty flat (that’s where other training will come in).
I’ll be keeping track in the fields below with either a screen shot of the tracked activity or a snapshot of the hike. I hope this inspires you to take the challenge to get out and move! If you are able to hike multiple times one week and none the next, use those hikes for the inactive week.
